Water/C02 Injection Well SCADA System

With capabilities for analog inputs, digital inputs and pulse inputs, SCADALink 900-MB RTU / radio modem can be used to:

  • ●  measure flow rate
  • ●  measure annulus and casing pressure
  • ●  perform flow totalization

  • ●  water/CO2 injection for enhanced recovery


In this application, the host polled the remote 900-MB I/O via Modbus RTU protocol. By using the 900-MB's integrated Modbus compatible I/O, no additional RTU or PLC equipment was required at the remote site. Analog and digital inputs from the Injection Well transmitters were connected directly to the 900-MB's I/O interface and polled by the host. Additionally, the 900-MB's low power consumption allowed for a low cost remote solar power installation.
