END TO END I/O TELEMETRY
Two SCADALink 900-MB RTU / radiomodem's can be configured in End
to End I/O Telemetry mode to act as a virtual cable to allow:
1. Cost effective monitoring/control of a small number of remote
I/O points.
2. Replacing old, unreliable hardwired systems
VFD SPEED CONTROL USING END TO END I/O TELEMETRY MODE
PUMP CONTROL USING END TO END I/O TELEMETRY MODE
ALARM MONITORING USING END TO END I/O TELEMETRY
MODE
- In End to End I/O Telemetry mode, analog or digital inputs connected to a 900-MB on one
side are reproduced as corresponding outputs on the 900-MB's terminals on the other side.
- Use End to End I/O Telemetry mode to bring back remote analog or digital points to
interface directly to PLC's, DCS's and hardwired control systems.
- End to End I/O Telemetry mode eliminates wiring by replacing multiconductor cables with
a license-free radio link.
