The SCADALink USC-V2 is an isolated USB to RS232 / RS485 converter designed for use in rugged industrial field applications.
The SCADALink USC-V2 allows field workers to work with serial devices using laptops without serial ports. With both RS232 and RS485 interfaces, the SCADALink USC-V2 can interface to PLC, RTU, and Flow Computer devices without need for additional adapters.
Field Compatibility
Tested for use with industrial devices such as flow computers, RTUs, PLCs, modems, and more.
Isolated USB Port
The USC-V2 is powered by the USB port; no addition power connection is needed. The USC-V2 provides isolation to protect your laptop, making it ideal for field service applications.
Interface
The RS232 port is terminated as both in DB9M (DTE) and removable 3-pin terminal block interface.
The RS485 port is connected on the same removable 3-pin terminal block interface as the RS232 port. RS232 and RS485 mode is selected via DIP Switch.
