Overview
SatSCADA Open Channel Flow Monitoring
The SatSCADA Open Channel Flow Monitoring Systems comprises of SAT100 or SAT120 Solar Powered RTU combined with FloWav AV-20 Velocity Sensor to provide a solar powered open channel flow monitoring solution for flow measurement of open channels or open pipe flow in remote locations.
Satellite and Sat/Cell Communications with the SAT100 or SAT120 provide high reliable communications in the most remote locations. SatSCADA Cloud Based Monitoring provides instant user web based user access and alarm notifications.

FloWave PSA-AV Sensor
System uses FloWave PSA-AV Sensor to measure open channel flow using combined velocity and head pressure measurement in a single sensor. The picture shows the FloWave Sensor with mounting bank for pipe mount.The FloWave is sampled at programmable rates to allow low power option.
Flow Calculations with SAT1xx or Datalogger
Flow Calculation and Accumulation is performed by SAT1xx Terminal or additional Data Logger. Flow calculations in Square Channel, V-Channels, Trapedoidal, or Partially Filled Pipes. A Datalogger is used if local data logging, local display, and additional inputs may be required.
System Operation
The system is designed for low power option. To conserve power,the FloWave is turned on and sampled at programmable rates.
