SAT120 Satellite/Cellular Modem for SCADA Communications with Cameron Scanner 2000 and MC-III Flowcomputers

The SCADALink  SAT120 Modem can be an flexible cost effective communications solutions for Cameron Scanner 2000 and MC-III flowcomputers.

SAT120's Dual Mode Satellite/Cellular communications ensures communications in the most remote areas.  With dual mode communications, cellular will be used as primary communications to provide low cost communications with fail over to satellite communications ensure connectivity at sites without cellular communications.

The SAT120 has RS232 and RS485 Serial Communications and  4 I/O (DI/AI).  RS485 connectivity allows direct connectivity to Scanner 2000 and MC-III.  The SAT120 I/O can be used to connect to additional I/O as needed on well testing and fixed well site applications.

Transparent Data & SCADA Communication

The SAT120 allows transparent data communications from the SCADA Hosts, Well Testing Applications, and EFM configuration programs (ModWorX, MC-III) to Scanner 2000 and MC-III flowcomputers.  This allows  the Cameron EFM's to be remotely accessed and configured including complete download of data logs and audit trails.

ModWorX Pro and MC-III Configuration Support with LOI Override Feature

The SAT120 provides complete support of ModWorX  and MC-III Configuration Software Applications.  The SAT120 Config Override Feature allows ModWorX and MC-III Configuration connectivity without termination of SCADA communications connectivity to the Scanner 2000 or MC-III. When ModWorX is connected, SCADA connectivity is temporary overridden. This allows for full remote configuration and maintenance of the connected EFMs. SCADA connectivity to returned once ModWorX or MC-III is application is terminated.

Web Browser and Smartphone Viewing of Tags and Trends

The SatSCADA Web Client provides Tag and Trend Views via web browsers on a computer or smartphone. The Web Client Views are based on points configured in the SAT120.  This feature provides cost effective visibility to key Tag Points at the Well site.

Alarm Callouts

Alarm Conditions for Alarm Points configured in the SAT120 will initiate Email and SMS Notifications from SatSCADA Server.

Trending

The SAT120 can be configured to report Tag Data to the SatSCADA Server on a daily, hourly, or interval schedule;  alarm condition, or user demand.  These points  can be trended by the SatSCADA Web Application.

Low Power Operation

The SAT120 features low power operation.   Cost effective remote measurement packages can be implemented using the SAT120 and Cameron Scanner 2000 and MC-III Flow Computers
