Remote Transaction Logging using SAT130

Bulk compressed gas delivery operations frequently utilize ticket printing systems to log transactions for billing. These systems will typically print two tickets with one signed as the delivery receipt. There is a need to log and transfer these transactions from the remote locations to provide timely updates for billing and backup in case of missing tickets.

Solution

The SCADALink SAT130 IoT Gateway with serial port data logging can log these transactions directly. The SAT130 with dual mode satellite/cellular communications can log and transmit the transaction records from remote locations anywhere. The SAT130 with integral GPS can provide additional GPS location and UTC timestamp information to the transaction log.
