Instrumentation / PLC  Power Supply for Mobile Equipment

Mobile Instrumentation  and Control Systems typically require 24VDC Power to supply Instrumentation and PLC Equipment. Mobile Equipment such as Diesel Powered Pumps typically have 12VDC or 24 VDC Electrical Systems. Powering Instrumentation directly from the 12 or 24 VDC Bus is not desireable since:

• The portable equipment/vehicle bus voltage may not have adequate regulation.
• Instrumentation requires 24 VDC for Operation.
• Engine Cranking may brown out electronics
•  If Engine is Shutoff for Prolonged periods Load may discharge Battery on Diesel System

The SCADALink MEIPS provdes as solution to this:

• Battery Isolation / Protection
• 10 to 30VDC to 24VDC DC to DC Inverter
• Integral Backup Battery to prevent brownouts.
• Connection to Auxilary Battery Bank.

The MEPS is available for 12VDC or 24 VDC Equipment.  Output is a Regulated 24 VDC.
