Overview
The SCADALink IOT100 is a compact, low-power cellular connected gateway device designed for Industrial Remote Monitoring, Control, & Alarm Callout Applications. The IOT100 is coupled with the SatSCADA Web Portal to provide Plug-and-Play Remote Monitoring and Alarm Callout Operations. The IOT100 can also provide multipoint I/O telemetry, securely transmitting data over cellular network.
The SCADALink IOT100 is available in complete, ready to install AC and DC powered packages.
Compact, Integrated Functionality
- Integrated CAT-M1 cellular communications for reliable data wherever there’s connectivity.
- 2 x Digital Input to detect on/off states (e.g. pump status, door alarms).
- 2 x Digital Output to remotely control devices (e.g. valves)
- RS485 Modbus Master/Slave Port for connecting with industrial devices

RS485 Modbus Master/Slave Port
The Modbus Master Port allows the IOT100 to poll Modbus Slave Devices like PLCs, RTUs, Flowmeters, and Engine/Generator Controllers.
The Modbus Slave Port allows the tag based data from the local or remote IOT100’s to be retrieved by a master PLC/DCS device or SCADA Host.

I/O Expansion with SCADAlink I/O Modules
The IOT100 with the SCADALink I/O bus allows SCADALink IO Modules to be used to expand I/O for applications with additional I/0.

Low Power Operation
The IOT100 with low power sleep mode allows it to be used in SOLAR and/or BATTERY powered applications. Units in Sleep Mode can be automatically woken on schedule and/or any digital input state change. Subscribed tag data and configuration changes stored by the broker will be delivered once the device wakes up.
Intuitive Tag Based Configuration
The I/O is organized by user defined descriptive tag names. Each IOT100 can publish data to the server on schedule or event/change, as well as subscribe to any tags published by other IOT100’s in the same network or published via the SATSCADA dashboard. Alarms can be defined based off any tags with setpoints that can be changed/updated from the SatSCADA dashboard.
Integrated SatSCADA Cloud Portal For Monitoring and Control
The IOT100 automatically publishes all data to the SCADAlink SatSCADA Platform on schedule or based on alarms/events. The SatSCADA web portal provides a secure and intuitive interface for:
- Remote Monitoring: View real-time and historical site data.
- Data Trending: Analyze performance and spot trends over time.
- Alarm Notification: Receive instant alerts via Email, SMS, and voice callout for critical events.
I/O Telemetry
The SCADALink IOT100 can both publish and subscribe MQTT data from the SatSCADA Cloud. By subscribing to tags from other IOT100 units in the same network, point to point or point to Multipoint I/O Replication/Telemetry can be performed.

I/O Telemetry with IOT100
The IOT100 is designed to handle applications where I/O signals (4-20ma Input/Outputs, Digital Inputs/Outputs) have to replicated from one site to another. These may be applications for wire replacement or simple remote control.
The IOT100 using cellular network communications and a SatSCADA MQTT broker enable I/O Telemetry connectivity over RF obstructions / terrain.
With the SatSCADA Platform support users can control and view data on dashboard.

Cloud IoT with IOT100
The SCADALink IOT100 is ideal for remote monitoring applications where there is need to monitor and control a small amount of Tags derived from hardware I/O (4-20ma Input/Outputs, Digital Inputs/Outputs) or Modbus Devices. A IOT100 can be easily configured for a applications like Tank or Reservoir LEVEL monitoring as shown.
